First of all, to answer the comment recieved from my last blog, am I boring or lazy? perhaps a little of both, but mostly a little lost. It was a hard thing remembering my blog and how to get to it and what the password was. I am going to have to work on my memory skills before exams start. But I found it. What was once lost is now found. And the major topic of news that may not be news to any of you at all is this.... IT IS COLD!!!!!! It was like -39 with wind chill when I stepped outside on Monday morning. I thought I was gonna die. Especially when I walked over the walkway to get to the CTrain. It's so much windier up there, it's just not right. Can you imagine still adjusting to -10 weather after spending over a year with no snow and a good 9 months with temperatures above 30 degrees?!?! I don't know how many of you can really imagine. I thought someone was ripping me apart. It was cruel and unusual, and I thought scraping the ice off my car in Spruce Grove was bad, it wasn't nearly as cold then!!! Did you know that it was cold enough here that they had to bring it up on Regis and Kelly? Just a little tid bit of information for you. Oh yeah, I want to go back to Guinea where it's warm. Did I mention it was 33 degrees there the other day, and that doesn't include the humidity... How I long for that heavenly heat and moist skin! :)
On a different note: I have been sick for over 2 weeks now, just mildly... except for those times when it decides to randomly attack my body and I end up in bed with frequent trips to the bathroom. It's becoming a way of life really.
Papers are all most over, exams are almost here, and a break is in site. I have a love hate relatioship with school.. I hate when I get about half way through the semester and still have to continue, but I love when I get a break. I don't anticipate as many great breaks in my life after I get out of school. Speaking of getting out of school, I got an email today asking if I would be interested in taking a short term missions trip to what I believe is refered to as the Desert Sands... I may be corrected on that later when I discover EXACTLY where it is... She said April/May... Of course I need to graduate in April so I am not sure how that would really all work out. I do love the Idea of going though... I don't have any money.... puts such a damper on the excitment.
I am not entirely sure what else I can ramble about... so be glad you got anything and perhaps I will be back later, when I once again remember that there are people out there and for some reason they do sometimes read the things that I write.
